Simon Place is a Chartered Forester with over 30 years experience in the forestry and arboriculture industries in both the UK and Europe. He specialises in woodland establishment and the creation of new forests and prides himself on his excellent communication and customer service skills.
Graham Bradley
At High Grains Forestry, we know that it is critical to work with the best contractors with proven track records. This is why we have partnered with Graham Bradley Landscape and Forestry. Tree Planting / Aftercare

High Grains Forestry has vast experience in the establishment of commercial crops or native woodland creation. Our experienced team prides themselves on high-quality results, fast service and quality materials. Maintenance and aftercare cannot be underestimated, and at High Grains Forestry, we deem this to be an essential part of the establishment process that cannot be overlooked.
Forest Surveys
Exceptional Personal Service
Identifying the work and assessing forest operations correctly is the key to successful forest management. Forest surveying is a critical operation, and at High Grains Forestry, we carry out detailed surveys for maintenance, stocking density, beating up, mensuration and boundary repairs together with a host of other works. We are careful not to over-survey, and we are always conscious of the costs for our clients.
Fencing
Satisfaction Guaranteed
This is one of our most important, non-tree-related services. It has made a big difference for many of our customers and is provided with the highest level of excellence. Fencing, particularly in the UK, is essential to guard against rabbits, hares, deer and agricultural stock. We have significant experience of all kinds of fencing and specialise in remote and awkward fences, which are often in areas where tree cover is difficult to establish.
Stakes and Canes
Working with both French and Hungarian partners, we are able to supply non-chemically treated natural Acacia timber for tree stakes and fencing through our Stakes and Canes business. Acacia is the perfect solution for tree stakes due to the strength and longevity. Most sizes catered for ranging from 75cm to 1.5m in 22x22mm or 25x25mm. They last so long they can be reused again!
